Established in 1926, the University of Melbourne Baseball Club is a club for the students, alumni and friends of the University of Melbourne. Our seniors’ and women’s teams compete in the Melbourne Winter Baseball League (MWBL).
Description
In 2026, we're reaching another significant club milestone: 30 years of our women's baseball program.
The UMBC women’s program has been core to the heart and soul of this club since its inception in 1996, and we’re very proud to be going strong with two women’s teams and a recent Div 1 premiership three decades later!
We want to honour that legacy with a special evening dedicated to the players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters who made it possible. Join us for a night of stories, connection, and celebration as we look back on the moments that built the program and the people who carried it forward.
The evening will feature highlights from across the last 30 years, recognition of milestone achievements, and reflections from past and present members who helped shape the women’s program into what it is today.
Whether you played in the early years, joined more recently, coached, volunteered, or supported from the sidelines, this night is for you. Come reconnect with teammates, celebrate the program’s evolution, and raise a glass to the next chapter of women’s baseball at UMBC.
An evening to honour our past, celebrate our present, and champion our future.
